This exhibit showcases the work of photographers who have documented the diverse communities that live side-by-side in Israel, as well as the work of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), a non-political organization that creates pragmatic, sustainable solutions to help vulnerable communities in Israel and around the world.

Following the journey of 12 photographers to seven stops where they explore different cultures and individuals who call Israel home, their photos, alongside material from the JDC Archives, document JDC’s work and its deep reach into and across the mosaic of the county.

United Jewish Federation of Tidewater works to meet the challenges facing today’s Jewish community at home and around the world, through a network of local Jewish agencies and overseas service partners, including the JDC.
