During Shabbat Services and at a festive Oneg Shabbat, Charles (Chuck) Woodward will be honored for his 40 years as Ohef Sholom Temple’s music director.
Known throughout Tidewater as a choral conductor and keyboard player, Charles Woodward serves two historic congregations in Norfolk: Ohef Sholom Temple and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. In addition, he is the artistic director and conductor of the Virginia Chorale, the Commonwealth’s premier professional choral ensemble—acclaimed for its innovative programming.
Shabbat Services will be held in the temple’s sanctuary.
