Haley Haverson for becoming a member of The National Society of High School Scholars. The Society recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment. The announcement was made by NSHSS founder and chairman, Claes Nobel, a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes.

A sophomore at Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, Haley is the daughter of Todd and Jill Haverson and the granddaughter of Jeffery Haverson and Sybil Friedberg of blessed memory.
