Linda Sinowitz, LMSW, on her appointment as Congregation Beth Chaverim’s new director of Religious School.

Since moving to Virginia Beach from New York in 2006, Sinowitz has taught first and second grade at CBC and taken part in reestablishing an active Sisterhood, volunteered on the religious education and membership committees, as well as the temple’s board of directors. With many years of professional experience with children, adolescents, and their families, she has encouraged Beth Chaverim to cultivate one of its most valuable resources… its youth.

Work has begun on revamping several educational components at Beth Chaverim, including expanding its music program, and increasing the staff.
