Virginia Beach – Barbara Rae Soroko Bowden died June 29, 2026, in her home in Virginia Beach.
Born in Portsmouth, Va. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Soroko and Mildred Hilles Soroko.
Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the positive impact she had on the lives of those who knew her. Barbara cherished time with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Michelle Dawn Lugtu, grandchild Rashad, her beloved James Weber, son-in-law Daniel Jacob Lugtu, cousins Norman Soroko, Arlene Kessel, her nephew Brian Soroko and many extended family members and dear friends. The family appreciates the love and condolences during this time.
A graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery officiated by Cantor David Proser.
