ESEK, an initiative connecting Israeli artists and small businesses with communities around the world, returns to Tidewater bringing a collection of Israeli-made products to the community through its Made in Israel Pop-Up Market. Featuring work from Israeli artists, creators, and small business owners, ESEK offers an opportunity to discover gifts while connecting with the people and stories behind them.
The collection includes handcrafted Judaica, jewelry, artwork, home décor, accessories, and gifts for Jewish holidays and everyday life, alongside two especially meaningful collections. One features work by survivors of the Nova Music Festival, whose art reflects personal journeys of loss, memory, healing, and hope. The other showcases pieces by IDF reservists who have put their businesses on hold to serve, as well as family members working to keep those businesses going.
Shopping with ESEK is about more than finding something unique. Each purchase directly supports the small businesses and creators behind the products, helping them sustain their crafts, work, and livelihood. For the Tidewater community, the market offers a way to connect with Israel through its people, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Whether looking for a unique holiday gift or another meaningful way to support Israel and its people, save the dates and come shop the shuk.
Presented by the Jewish Community Relations Council of United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, Simon Family JCC, all area synagogues, and Community Partners’ 16th Annual Israel Today Series.
