Norfolk – Marvin Joel Merkle, 79, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 22, 2026.
He was born in Richmond, Virginia, the son of the late Harold Hyman and Eva Merkle.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jenefer Dayle Snyder and husband Michael and Heather Umberger; and two grandchildren Brayden Douglas Snyder and Dylen Evan Keller and a host of loving friends and family.
A graveside service was held at Gomley Chesed Cemetery by Rabbi Jacob Herber.
