Rubin (Ruby) Kravitz on the full page coverage of his career in the ASTM Standardization News. ASTM (the American Society for Testing and Materials) is globally recognized as the leader in the development and delivery of international standards. Kravitz has joined such figures as Earl S. Tupper (creator of Tupperware) and Leo Baekeland (inventor of Bakelite) in the People Section of the Syracuse University Plastics Collection. The Syracuse collection, considered the largest university based resource on the history of plastics, has benefited greatly from the addition of the National Plastics Center and Museum collection, founded by Kravitz in 1976.
