Boca Raton, Fla.—Bette Wohlgemuth (née Carver) of Boca Raton, Florida formerly of Waterbury, Connecticut, passed September 2, 2022 at the age of 93.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mae (Schekzer) Carver, as well as her brother, Harold Carver.
For 71 years, Bette was the loving wife of Paul Wohlgemuth, MD (of blessed memory).
She is survived by her four cherished sons: Dr. Mark Wohlgemuth (Mary), Dr. Stephen Wohlgemuth (Dr. Holly Puritz), Dr. Peter Wohlgemuth (Ilene), and Mr. David Wohlgemuth (Cheryl). She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Dr. Zach Wohlgemuth (Allie), Dr. Josh Wohlgemuth (Sinead), Ms. Melissa Wohlgemuth, Ms. Leah Wohlgemuth (Yoni Glaser), and Mrs. Michelle Cooper (Brett) together with her six great-grandchildren Noa, Connor, Ethan, Zoe, Landon, and Maya.
Bette was the consummate volunteer in Waterbury and Boca Raton. While proud to support her community, her family was her greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment.
