Sale: Friday, August 15 and Sunday, August 17: 9 am – 2 pm
Donations accepted: Monday, June 2 – Monday, August 11: 10 am – 2 pm (except on Fridays)
Preparations for Ohef Sholom Temple’s Sisterhood’s Rummage Sale are now underway, which means that Sisterhood women and temple staff are getting ready to accept donations of items to be sold. Now is the time, then, to consider what’s hiding in garages and attics or taking up space in cabinets that could use a new home and help fund programs at Ohef Sholom.
Beginning Monday, June 2 (except on Fridays), these items will be welcomed for sale: Jewelry, art, decorative items, linens, dishes, glasses, cookware, small appliances, electronics, office supplies, holiday items, children’s items and toys, crafts and hobby related items, sporting goods, luggage, handbags, wallets, backpacks, books (fiction, nonfiction, gardening, cooking, history, travel, Judaica and children), albums and DVDs, (No VHS or cassette tapes).
Furniture and rugs will be accepted August 4 – 13 only.
The proceeds from the Rummage Sale are used by the Sisterhood to assist the Temple with Religious School, Oneg Shabbats, flowers, and more.
