Virginia Beach —Selma Lilian Graber nee Levin was born to Rose and Harry Levin on October 10, 1932 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2016.

She attended Brooklyn College in New York City and taught elementary school after graduation. She devoted her life to music, to her husband, children and her community. She had a keen, artistic eye for interior decorating. Selma sang with the San Francisco Opera and locally with the group Town and Gown. Selma actively sought opportunities to volunteer including performing music programs at local nursing homes and as a docent at Chrysler museum.

She is survived by her husband Stanley Graber, her children Jay, Shari, Alyssa and Mark, as well as by her eight grandchildren and a great grandson.
